Musitec owner, Francisco (Frank) Torres, began his work with audio, video and lighting in Chicago starting with a degree in sound engineering from Columbia. He spent years as an event DJ and coordinator and sound engineer, even owning a record label for a time and bringing acts to the inner city, like Chaka Khan, before moving his family to the Sunshine State. Frank Torres founded company Musitreks in 1991 which changed to Musitec in 2002. In 2005, Musitec opened a physical location in Tampa Bay, just 15 minutes from the beach. Torres's extensive background and over 40 years experience in audio visual and events help Musitec be the premier AV partner for
